Designing a classic object such as a table lamp begins with a simple question: can the user genuinely feel the meaning carried by its form. The character of the shape should speak without explanation, conveying its balance, craft, usability and originality through quiet confidence rather than technical detail. Robin was conceived through this philosophy. Its form is the result of exploring how these qualities can be absorbed seamlessly into a single silhouette, allowing the user to sense the intention of the design the moment the light is switched on.
